Felix H. Tschudi awarded the «Modern Transport» prize 2013.

This prestigious prize was recently presented at the annual logistics event arranged by the Norwegian trade journal “Modern Transport”. This award is given annually for outstanding contribution to the development of Norwegian logistics

Pioneering efforts is one of the main reasons for this award:

- Tschudi Shipping Company was among the pioneers for initiating the first non-Russian commercial shipment through the Arctic to China. In 2010, the bulk carrier "MV Nordic Barents", successfully transported a cargo of iron ore from the Sydvaranger mine in Kirkenes to China. In addition, Tschudi was instrumental in the establishment of the Centre for High North Logistics "The international gateway to relevant knowledge about logistics in the High North".

- Another contributory factor is Tschudi Lines newly established short sea service - the first direct line from the Baltic to Drammen, Oslofjord – and strengthened position in the Baltic States.

This prize acknowledges the fact that Tschudi and its team have dared to realize its vision “Daring to be different”.  Congratulations to all involved!
