Mr. Toomas Hüüdma, who has held the position of Managing Director of First Baltic Shipmanagement AS since its incorporation as TESMA Estonia AS in 2002, has decided to resign from his position to pursue new challenges outside the Tschudi Shipping Company AS group of companies. In Tschudi Shipping AS and in ESCO, we appreciate very much the good work and extensive workload invested by Toomas into the company and wish him the very best for the future.

 

We are pleased to announce that a new management team is now in place for First Baltic Shipmanagement AS as follows:

 

Mr. Indrek Lepp has accepted the position of Managing Director of First Baltic

Shipmanagement AS. Indrek Lepp has earned his experience as a chief mate with Estonian Shipping Company Ltd. (ESCO) till he joined TESMA to build up and head the crewing operations for TESMA in the Baltic and Russia. A position he held from 2000 till 2005. Indrek Lepp has been appointed Chairman of the management Board of First Baltic Shipmanagement AS, and he will start in his new position on Monday 23rd May.

 

Mr. Peeter Tees has accepted the position as Technical Director of First Baltic

Shipmanagement AS. Peeter Tees is currently heading the Lloyds Registry office in Estonia. Before joining Lloyds Peeter was working in the technical department of ESCO and later in TESMA Estonia. He also earned his seagoing experience as an engineer in ESCO. Peeter Tees will be joining First Baltic Shipmanagement AS in June 2005.

 

Further, Captain Tor Bowitz has accepted the position as Group Quality and Safety Manager in Tschudi Shipping Company AS. In this position he will have the overall responsibility for the Quality and Safety of the technical management of all ships owned and managed by the Tschudi Shipping Company AS group of companies. Captain Tor Bowitz has more than 35 years of seagoing experience gained through Tschudi & Eitzen and later TESMA. He held the position as a master of the Sibo OBO carriers till April this year.
